1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fam Budget ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Fam Budget is a personal finance management application developed by Kishea Technologies that allows users to:

• Track income and expenses
• Create and manage budgets using envelope budgeting
• View financial reports and insights
• Backup data to cloud storage (optional)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use cloud backup features, you must create an account using your email address or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your password
• All activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Security

You must notify us immediately at support@kisheatech.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to store or transmit malicious code
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
• Maintain backup copies of your important financial data

5. Data and Content

5.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the App. By using our cloud backup service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the backup and sync functionality.

5.2 Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter. The App performs calculations based on your inputs and does not verify the accuracy of your data.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and content (excluding your personal data), is owned by Kishea Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including:

• Firebase Authentication: For user account management
• Firebase Cloud Firestore: For cloud data backup
• Google Sign-In: For optional authentication

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results from using the App will be accurate or reliable

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KISHEA TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Financial decisions made based on information in the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will cease immediately
• You may request deletion of your account and data
• Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be notified through the App or via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law principles.
